Let's Rock!

Everyone is asking, what the heck are these rocker bottom shoes? We have all seen many “versions” of the rocker bottom shoes being advertised on television and though the media, but how are we supposed to know which one is legitimate? MBT is the original, patented rocker bottom sole that was created by a Swiss engineer by the name of Karl Muller. MBT stands for Masai Barefoot Technology and the shoes were created to activate various muscle groups that are often neglected, improve posture and increase circulation. MBT is the ONLY rocker bottom shoe that has the patented polyurethane sensor (non electronic) in the heel that provides the feeling of walking on sand. Also, MBT is the ONLY rocker bottom sole with the patented “pivot point” which facilitates that rocking motion and actually almost propels you along as you walk. A lot of people have been using the MBT as a work out tool, but many customers have found that they are great for all day walking and standing in the workplace. Having the rocker bottom sole between you and the ground can really take a lot of stress off your joints and relieve back pain. At E.G.Geller we have had customers who have owned both the original MBT and the Sketchers or Reebock shoes and have really noticed a difference between the design and quality. MBT’s are manufactured with quality materials and MBT Inc. offers a resoling program so you can have your MBT’s resoled and cleaned up. Everyone should own a pair of MBTs and experience the support and relief they provide. If MBT is not for you, you may want to consider a more stable “rocker bottom” shoe like the Mephisto Sano or the Finn Comfort Finnamic!
